John Wick's updated kill count after release of Chapter Four is higher than Michael Myers and Terrifier 2 clown

The character's newly-updated kill count is at an 'insane' number following the latest release

There are some pretty cut-throat killers within the weird and wonderful world of Hollywood, though it seems one suave hitman is wiping the floor with them, having now outweighed two major horror icons who are widely known as the stuff of nightmares.

Following the release of the fourth chapter of the action-packed John Wick franchise, it's since been confirmed that Wick's kill count is now higher than both Michael Myers from Halloween as well as the skin-crawling clown in Terrifier 2. Quite the achievement when you think about it, to be fair.

Whether it's been Keanu Reeves emotionally thanking his crew after filming the final scene or John Wick 4 becoming the highest-rated film of the franchise - it's no surprise the flick is making major headlines right now.

The latest chapter was only released to cinemas theatres last Friday (24 March) and fans haven't been able to get enough of the neo-noir film.

Starring Donnie Yen as Caine, Bill Skarsgård as Marchese de Gramont and the late Lance Reddick as Charon - it's no surprise that cinephiles were eager for the next John Wick instalment.

The fourth outing follows ruthless hitman Wick (Reeves) who takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld.

Now, Wick is no stranger to a bit of murder - given that he's a hitman and all.

However, fans of the action man have found that the character's newly-updated kill count is at an 'insane' number following the latest release.

So much so that his murderous escapades have now outweighed that of both the tyrannical slashers, Michael Myers (Halloween) and Art the Clown from Terrifier 2.

The spot of the slasher with the most kills once belonged to Myers, thanks to both Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022).

After terrorising the small town of Haddonfield in Illinois since 1978, Myers managed to rack up a colossal kill count of 160.

Another killer a lot newer to the scene, however, is closely following in Myers' footsteps.

Art the Clown, who first appeared in Damien Leone's short film The Ninth Circle alongside both Terrifier and Terrifier 2, has a rapidly-increasing kill count.

So far, the clown has killed 26 people - 44 including the 18 people he killed in a gory dream sequence.

While the figure is not as grand as Myers, who knows what else could come of this creepy fellow?

Anyway, swiftly exiting the horror genre and entering the world of action, it's now been revealed that Wick blows both these killers way out of the water.

In the first film of the franchise, Wick killed 77 people followed by another 128 in the second one.

In fact, his killing was so rampant in John Wick: Chapter 2 that it's been estimated the hitman kills someone on average every 57 seconds.

Then there was the renowned John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, in which John chilled out a bit and only killed 94 people. Everyone deserves a bit of a break, I suppose.

That brings us up to an already ridiculous 299 and we've not even touched on the fourth film.

A fan on Twitter counted that John killed around 140 people in the fourth chapter - totalling his updated kill count to an immense 439.

Certainly not a guy to get on the wrong side of...
