For those eagerly awaiting season six of Rick and Morty, get ready because show creator Justin Roiland has teased that it's ‘f**king incredible’.
While speaking with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the showrunner shared that he was underwhelmed with the previous instalment as it was plagued by the death of his friend and Emmy-winning producer J. Michael Mendel.
He said: “Season 5 was a weird one… We lost Mendel.

“It was tough. We were thrown for a loop. That was… yeah. If I talk anymore, I’ll start crying.”
Although season five left many fans divided, Roiland said that fans could expect the upcoming season will deliver on every level.
He said: “I will say that it’s a bit more canonical. It really rewards fans of the show that have been watching up to this point.

“I think we’re kind of finally back into the rhythm of Rick And Morty, and I think season 6 is… I didn’t particularly think season five was bad, but season six is f**king amazing.
"It really is a f**king quality season.”
But what has season six got in store for us?
According to Kotaku: “It’s season six and Rick & Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck.

“Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of p**s? Who knows?! P**s! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More p**s! Another can’t-miss season of your favourite show.”
The latest season will also see the return of Roiland voicing the title roles of Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith (of course), Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith; Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith; and Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith.
However, Roiland is in high demand as he is also serving as a producer for the upcoming show Koala Man.

If it's anything like Rick and Morty, the Aussie-based show could be the next big thing.
The animated adult comedy will follow Kevin (voice by show creator Michael Cusack), a divorced dad trapped in a tedious job at the council by day, and turns into ‘Koala Man’ at night to fight crime in the New South Wales town of Dapto, according to Variety.
Hugh Jackman also has a role in the series, so you know it's going to be good.
There's no official release date yet, but Koala Man is set to drop next year on Hulu.
