Kelvin Fletcher is perhaps best known for his role of Andy Sugden in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, a role he played for 20 years. In 2019, the actor won Strictly Come Dancing alongside his professional dance partner Oti Mabuse.
Fletcher, who has since traded in his acting role on the series as a farmer to become a real farmer by purchasing a 120-acre farm, has recently revealed that he and his wife are expecting twins. But who is he sharing the happy news with?
Who is Kelvin Fletcher married to?
Kelvin Fletcher is married to Elizabeth Marsland, a fellow actress who is most known for playing in the 2016 TV series In the Club.
The actress also works on voice-over adverts and also showcases covers of well-known musical theatre songs to Soundcloud, having trained at the Manchester School of Acting, as well as the London School of Musical Theatre.
The pair wed in 2015 at London’s One Mayfair and had a musical-themed wedding day, and enjoyed a first-dance to The Carpenters’ We’ve Only Just Begun. The couple now share two children together: Marnie Fletcher, five, and Milo Fletcher, four.
The family are now expecting twins, telling BBC Breakfast in a recent interview: “We're having another two more children!”
Fletcher said: “We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like. We don't really do things by halves and then we found out we're having not just one baby, but two!”
“So we're having twins. It was an absolute eye-opener. So come May, we'll be delivering lambs for the first time. I'm not going to be delivering babies as such but it is going to be a really busy time!”
