Singer Kim Petras' sign language interpreter has gone viral for some rather, um, suggestive hand gestures.
The Grammy award winner was performing at Sydney’s WorldPride, taking to the stage in a stunning yellow outfit, which gave more than a nod to classic 90s film Clueless.
Though Petras looked beautiful at the LGBTQ+ festival, most of the audience weren’t watching her as they were too distracted by the Australian Sign Language (Auslan) interpreter's take on her x-rated lyrics.
Petras wasn’t the only big name at the closing ceremony which featured a host of famous faces including TikTok star Peaches PRC, Vanessa Amorosi and G Flip.

While the acts sent fans into a frenzy at the Pride event, Marc Ethan interpreted alongside them and had largely gone unnoticed.
When it came to Petras’ performance though, fans were mesmerised by Ethan’s expressive signing as he was projected on the huge screen behind the trans singer.
With tracks entitled 'They Wanna F**k' and 'Throat Goat', it is not surprising that Ethan’s thrusting and dramatic sucking motion soon caught everyone’s attention.

The Aussie interpreter even had to play with imaginary breasts as Kim performed 'Coconuts', which includes the lyrics: “My coconuts, you can put 'em in your mouth.”
Though most of us might be too embarrassed to even say the lyrics, let alone give hand gestures, the Auslan expert carried on as he wowed the crowd.
It wasn’t just the live audience who were impressed though, as Ethan has gone viral with Petras’ fans around the world, who shared clips of her WorldPride performance.

Many of them have taken to Twitter as they give their reaction to Ethan proactive performance during the closing ceremony festival on Sunday.
A fan even called him the ‘real star’ of WorldPride in a tweet, before tagging Petras in a clip.
Others quickly followed, with another viewer adding: “If anyone was going to outshine @kimpetras during her World Pride set, it was always going to be her sign language interpreter. HE GAVE EVERYTHING.”
The compliments kept coming for Ethan, with one fan writing: “Watching @kimpetras at the World Pride closing ceremony was a blast, but full credit has to go to the sign language interpreter who absolutely nailed it.”

While his tongue-in-cheek performance was a highlight for non-Auslan speakers, the performance has highlighted how beneficial inclusivity is for everyone at major events.
The viral video comes just a month after Justina Miles was praised for her similarly explicit signing during Rihanna’s Half Time Show at the 57th Super Bowl.
