Johnny Depp has made explosive claims about how he severed his finger while in Australia.
The actor has testified for a second day about his relationship with ex-wife Amber Heard in his $50 million defamation case against her.
Depp was asked about the infamous work trip to Australia, where he was filming another Pirates of the Caribbean film.

There has been much speculation about what happened to the finger, with Ms Heard previously alleging Depp cut it off during a fit of rage, according to Yahoo News.
However, the 58-year-old gave his explanation while in the witness box.
He claimed his then-wife was furious because he asked her to sign a post-nuptial agreement. During a fight about the issue, Johnny went to the bar area in their rental home to have a drink.

"[Amber] came down to the bar and found me there and, of course, started screaming," Depp said.
"She walked up to me and reached and grabbed the bottle of vodka and then just kind of stood back and hurled it at me. It just went right past my head and smashed behind me."
Depp said he grabbed another bottle of vodka before she took it off him again and tossed it in his direction.

"[Amber] threw the large bottle and it made contact and shattered everywhere," he said.
"I honestly didn't feel the pain at first at all... what I felt was, I felt heat. I felt as if something were dripping down my hand.
"And then I looked down and realised that the tip of my finger had been severed."
He then revealed in graphic detail just how bad the injury was.

"I was looking directly at my bone sticking out, and the meaty portion of the inside of your finger, and blood was just pouring out," he told the court.
Depp said the incident caused him to go into what he described as a 'nervous breakdown'.
"That's probably the closest I've ever been... I knew in my mind and in my heart, this is not life... No one should have to go through this," he said.
The actor revealed he then used the severed appendage to write messages in blood around their home.

"I started to write with my blood, in my own blood, on the walls little reminders from our past that essentially represented lies that she told me, and lies that I had caught her in," he revealed.
He explained how he lied about the cause of the severed finger when he received medical treatment because he 'didn't want to get her in trouble'.
"I said that I had smashed it in these large accordion doors. I lied because I didn't want to disclose... that it had been Ms. Heard that had thrown a vodka bottle at me," he said.
"I tried to just keep things as copasetic and as easy as possible for everyone," he explained. "I did not want to put her name in that mix."
