Grab the Cosmos because Samatha Jones is said to return to the upcoming season of the Sex and the City spin-off series And Just Like That..
When asked if the two-best friends, Samantha and Carrie, will still be text-messaging in season two, showrunner Michael Patrick King told Variety: “Yes!”
He continued: "One of my big rules is don't tell things until they're real."

Despite Samantha's absence in the series, her presence was made known, with Carrie frequently messaging her as text exchanges would pop up on the screen.
Though King confirmed the character would be a part of season two in some form, he remained very tight-lipped about what was installed.
He said: "It's all so new right now.”

He added: "My goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together so that they're not so much on separate runways."
Which makes us think that the iconic Sex and the City character will be reincarnated, perhaps even recast, considering Kim Cattrall returning for an onscreen reunion is out of the question.
The 65-year-old confirmed she would not be returning to the series revival while speaking with Piers Morgan on ITV, saying that the show's lead, Sarah Jessica Parker, ‘could’ve been nicer’ to her.
She also shot down rumours that she demanded a bigger paycheque when asked to reprise the character.

Cattrall said: “This is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, is that I think she could have been nicer. I really think she could have been nicer. I don't know what her issue is.
"The thing that still bothers me is this feeling of being in some way made to be the baddie. I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous."
Cattrall also theorised that the show could recast an ‘African-American or Hispanic’ actor to play the beloved role.
The Mannequin star also slammed her former co-worker when Parker offered her condolences after Cattrall's brother passed away.

Cattrall posted a photo that read: “I don’t need your love and support at this time @sarahjessicaparker.”
The caption also said: “My Mum asked me today, ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.
“Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”

Yikes, it doesn’t look like these two will be reconciling anytime soon.
