It wouldn't be the festive season without Love Actually fans picking apart every detail from the Christmas romcom.
This year even Jeremy Vine got in on the action by addressing the characters' many red flags in a segment on his show.
But today we're turning our attention to a supposed blunder that's left fans in uproar, with one even saying it's 'ruined the entire film' for them.
No surprises that it's talking about what is quite possibly the most heartbreaking scene - you know the one.

Emma Thompson's Karen (if only they'd known the cultural relevance of that name today) has just discovered her husband Harry (played by the late Alan Rickman) has eyes for another woman.
After finding out a necklace she thought was for her was actually intended for his young secretary, she walks into their shared bedroom and begins to cry.
But rather than kicking off, she wipes away the tears and rearranges their bed before heading back into the living room to put on a brave face for their kids on Christmas Eve.

While it's hard to concentrate on anything but the sadness of the entire scene, it's been nearly 20 years since the film dropped and so fans aren't quite so overwhelmed when they see it now.
As such, they've recently discovered a new detail that they believe to be a massive blunder.
What is it, you ask? There are no pillows on the bed.
You might laugh at something so insignificant, but people are taking it very seriously, with one writing on Twitter: "Why doesn't she have any pillows?"

They added: "Emma Thompson. There's no pillows on the bed in the scene where she cries after not getting the necklace."
Another said: "Just noticed Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman have no pillows on their bed in Love Actually and quite frankly the whole film is ruined for me."
"Why are there no pillows on Emma Thompson’s bed in Love Actually?" asked a third. "It’s seriously always bugged me."
A fourth even joked that it may be one of the reasons for their marital problems, writing: "Emma Thompson has no pillows on her bed in Love Actually and I feel like this explains a lot."

But not everyone agrees, with some suggesting those all-important pillows are just hiding.
"There is a slight gradient which leads me to think they are under the quilt," said one.
"But who had time for hotel bed making! Certainly not these two with ole cheaty pants and lobster outfit sewing... suspicious."

A second chimed in: "They are there!!!! Under the duvet!"
So what's your take? Do they sleep on wafer thin pillows or is their bed a loveless slab of mattress with nothing but a thin quilt to keep them warm?
Whatever the case, as said by one fan, the lack of pillows is the least of their problems.
