Despite appearing in The Wolf Of Wall Street, Margot Robbie says was surprised by how graphic another one of her films was.
Last year, the Australian actor appeared in Babylon alongside Brad Pitt in an epic period drama about the silent film era.
While the premise doesn’t sound all that racy, the movie depicted the debauchery of early Hollywood - including an insane orgy scene.
Loosely based on real-life figures, Babylon’s synopsis reads: "A tale of outright ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood."

In fact, it proved so raunchy that one critic called it a ‘dazzling, dizzying cacophony of demented depravity’.
Directed by Damien Chazelle, the brains behind Whiplash and La La Land (yes, really), the film even depicts an orgy at the newly formed Hollywood Hills.
While it’s not dissimilar from events depicted in The Wolf Of Wall Street, Robbie admitted that she was a little taken aback by the opening scene.

Chatting on Variety's Actors on Actors series, Carey Mulligan discussed the scene calling it an ‘enormously debauched, crazy, wild party’ with ‘lots of people wearing very little or nothing’.
Robbie agreed with her fellow A-lister’s take on the scene, replying: "It’s pretty much a party-slash-orgy. It kind of turns into an orgy.
"When I read the script, I was like, this is like La Dolce Vita and Wolf of Wall Street had a baby - and I love it.”
However, the Barbie star wasn't so sure about whether censors would approve of the racy scene, confessing: "But I was like, are we allowed to show that? Are we allowed to show that?”

“There were so many scenes where I was like, a) I have no idea how I’m going to do that, and b) are we going to get away with this."
Hilariously, Mulligan then revealed that she’d watched the film with her mum, much to the shock of the Aussie star.
While we wouldn’t recommend sitting down to watch the raunchy drama with your parent, or extended family for that matter, Babylon’s leading lady had other opinions.
She joked: "Everyone should see Babylon with their parents. It won’t be awkward at all."
