Margot Robbie's salary for the upcoming Barbie movie has been leaked, and she's now believed to be the highest-paid woman in Hollywood.
The former Neighbours star has climbed her way through the ranks in the acting world, having found worldwide acclaim for her role in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street.
And now she's set to take on the iconic role of the fantastically plastic Barbie in Greta Gerwig's live-action movie.

Details about the flick have continued to trickle in, the latest being that the 32-year-old actor will be receiving the tidy sum of $12.5 million (£10.4 million), according to Variety.
Not only is she reported to be earning the same as her male counterpart Ryan Gosling - who has taken on the role of Ken - but if this figure is accurate, it would also make her the highest-paid female actor in Hollywood at the current time.
This is according to Variety's latest list of Tinsel Town's top earners, which sees Gosling and Robbie in joint 16th place.

While the Aussie is top of the list for female actors, British teen Millie Bobby Brown isn't too far behind, and is set to get paid $10 million (£8.4 million) for her leading role in the upcoming mystery film Enola Holmes 2.
If the Stranger Things star is earning that amount, it will mark the highest upfront salary any actor under the age of 20 has ever been given.
As for who's top of the list, these record-breaking paydays pale in comparison to Tom Cruise's for reprising his role in Top Gun: Maverick.

Variety states that the Hollywood heavyweight is estimated to rake in a whopping $100 million (£83.6 million) or more from ticket sales, his cut from rentals and streams and his salary.
Now this might sound outrageous to mere mortals like you and I, but apparently this sum is totally justified.
A studio executive told the publication: "I would never bet against Tom Cruise. Most actors aren’t worth what you pay them, but Cruise and maybe Dwayne Johnson justify their salaries."

Back to Robbie and her turn in Barbie, in April fans were given their first glimpse into the film with a picture of her in a hot pink convertible looking identical to the iconic children's doll.
Speaking to British Vogue about taking on the significant role, she said: “People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, 'I know what that movie is going to be.'
"And then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, 'Oh, well, maybe I don’t…'"
Barbie is set for release on 21 July, 2023.
