Margot Robbie says she was surprised they were allowed to show a full-on orgy scene in her new movie.
The Australian is set to star in long-awaited flick Babylon, a glitzy epic that centres on the debauchery of the early days of Hollywood.
The movie also sees Robbie team up once again with Brad Pitt, who she starred alongside in Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

A synopsis reads: "A tale of outright ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood."
If you've seen the trailer, you'll know that it's pretty full on, showing off the wild side of the Golden Era of cinema.
And as a result, it's proven pretty divisive with critics who have seen it already.
"Damien Chazelle’s Babylon is a dazzling, dizzying cacophony of demented depravity," wrote one. "A rebellious, outrageous portrait of golden-era hedonistic Hollywood."

While another added: "Babylon is a flaming hot mess… Easily Damien Chazelle’s worst film."
So yeah, it's not everyone's cup of tea. But what is?
As well as the critics, though, one person who was taken aback by the movie was Carey Mulligan, who recently sat down with Robbie as part of Variety's 'Actors on Actors' series.

Discussing the opening scene, Mulligan said it was "this enormously debauched, crazy, wild party" with "lots of people wearing very little or nothing".
And Robbie completely agreed, saying: "It’s pretty much a party-slash-orgy. It kind of turns into an orgy."
She went on: "When I read the script, I was like, this is like La Dolce Vita and Wolf of Wall Street had a baby – and I love it.

"But I was like, are we allowed to show that? Are we allowed to show that?
"There were so many scenes where I was like, a) I have no idea how I’m going to do that, and b) are we going to get away with this?"
And when Mulligan revealed that she had watched the film with her mum, Robbie said: "What’d she think? Oh, my God.
"Everyone should see Babylon with their parents. It won’t be awkward at all."

Babylon is set to land in cinemas on 6 January 2023.
