Miles Teller's wife was not a fan of his tache when he returned home from filming Top Gun: Maverick.
The blockbuster hit was a sequel to the 1986 film and has racked up nearly $1.2 billion at the box office.
Whiplash actor Teller, who co-stars alongside Tom Cruise, plays the son of Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards) and Carole Bradshaw (Meg Ryan).

Despite their being a significant amount of tension between the two characters, there is certainly no competition in the facial-hair department.
Clean-shaven Cruise was no match for Miles' big-thick-moustache and the internet definitely thought he pulled it off.

However, one person that didn't like 'the porn stache' was his Mrs, Keleigh Sperry.

Teller, 35, told People: "My wife made me shave it immediately [after filming]."

Well, the Top Gun sequel overtook Titanic to become Paramount's highest grossing film of all time.

Jennifer Connelly and Jon Hamm also make an appearance on screen, while Val Kilmer reprises his iconic role as Iceman from the original.
