A motorist has come up with a devious revenge ploy after being hit by an uninsured driver who refused to pay out.
After getting into a collision with another vehicle, the disgruntled victim appears to have attempted to shame the perpetrator by slapping a huge sticker on the side of their car, blaming them for the damages.
The sticker takes aim at an 'uninsured driver' who they claimed to be responsible for the large dent and scratch on the side of their car.
The vehicle was spotted parked up in a nearby car park at Windsor Great Park.
The photographer was amused by the whole endeavour and snapped a picture of the sticker on Sunday, uploading it to Reddit along with the caption "The height of pettiness seen in a UK car park today."
Speaking to The Sun Online, the photographer said: "I'd say my friends and I thought it was hilarious, especially as the sticker was far more obvious than the scratch.
"I've not seen anything like it before. I think we've all been in situations where we want to get revenge or call someone out.
"Kudos to whoever actually went through the effort of doing it though.
"I'm sure it has given a fair few people a laugh."
Over on Reddit opinion was split over who was in the right, although users generally appeared to back the move after agreeing that uninsured drivers are 'the worst'.
One user said: "It's not petty. Uninsured drivers are the absolute worst. F*** Sarah."
Another agreed: "Yup not petty at all given it's the UK it's also illegal to drive without insurance. The owner of the damaged vehicle should win at the small claims court."
It is against the law to drive in the UK without third party insurance as a minimum, which is in place to ensure that no one gets left out of pocket for repairs that they didn't cause.
But as another user explained: “The problem is there’s so many people who don’t want to pay for insurance and know they only have a small chance of getting caught while driving that they don’t bother.
“Then s*** like this happens where the owner of the car the idiots drove into are left footing the bill through their own insurance - the price of which means sometimes it’s better to just not even report that an accident occurred.”
Did Sarah deserve it? Probably. But either way, this is some impressive pettiness.
