A pregnant disabled woman has spoken of the moment she appeared to be told to stand up during a concert, with the musician saying she 'looked stupid' for sitting down.

The excruciatingly awkward moment took place in London at the O2 Arena last week. And even more embarrassingly, it wasn't even the headline act that she was there to see, but the support act, who was clearly becoming frustrated that his attempts to hype the crowd up weren't working.

The woman, posting as @kxrstyxx on TikTok, revealed that she is 27 weeks pregnant, as well as requiring a walking stick.

She shared footage of the outrageous moment where singer Example, who was performing as the support act for JLS, appeared to order fans to stand up and dance while he performed 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me', yelling: "Get up out of your seats!"

The woman captioned the post: "Getting called out by Example was not on my 2025 bingo card… Sir, I am 27 weeks pregnant and disabled."

She explained in the comment section that she even held her walking stick up in the air to show that she couldn't stand.

Ironically, @kxrstyxx had a meet-and-greet earlier before the show with headliners JLS, with singer Aston Merrygold also using crutches following emergency knee surgery.

“JLS themselves were absolutely lovely to myself, mentioned how they loved that I painted my walking aid the colours as well,” she said.

While some pointed out that it appeared to be simply a joke, others weren't as forgiving.

One commenter replied with anger about Example's comments: "I’m so sorry I heard him say later in the concert ‘even this pregnant woman is standing’, I had no idea he peer pressured you into standing that’s so wrong."

It seems this incident London wasn't a one-off, either.

"He was like this in Cardiff, he was fuming at everyone sitting down," another fan wrote on social media, as someone else claimed: "In Notts he was complaining the whole time about people sat down."

Another added: "I was FUMING about this! He was so rude and wouldn’t let it go."

"Making everyone look at you is just weird, I sat down his whole act," wrote one JLS fan.

"I can't stand up for long, doesn't mean I'm not enjoying myself," insisted another gig-goer.

"I saw this too last night and the camera even went to someone with crutches... if you see people who don't wanna stand or can't stand then leave them be as they can still enjoy it sat down," advised one person.

One commenter said: "I would've stayed sat down," to which the woman who posted the video replied: "Best believe I did!"

LADbible has reached out to Example's team for comment.
