One Aussie man desperately attempts to snag a date by offering up a ticket to Taylor Swift’s Era tour.
Well, this lad has definitely taken advantage of Swiftmania Down Under, as a screenshot on the anonymous man’s Tinder profile has begun making the rounds online.
In the screenshot shared to Facebook, the man shows Ticketek’s ‘lounge’ indicating that he has one share ticket to the concert.

He captioned the photo: “Need a date for Taylor, thought I better start looking”.
Oh, come on.
The tactic had many users online divided as some said it was nothing short of a stroke of genius, while others deemed it creepy.

One Facebook user wrote: “May have to resort to this to be fair.”
Another said: “I’d risk possibly getting murdered for this.”
While a third said: “Even if his plan was to murder me, I would simply ask for him to wait until after (the concert). A win is a win.”
However, some also pointed out that just because the man had uploaded a screenshot of the Ticketek ‘lounge’, it didn’t necessarily mean he actually had tickets.

May sure you get those receipts, girls!
Last month, Taylor Swift’s Eras ticket went on sale, and it descended into absolute mayhem, as a staggering four million Swifties attempted to get tickets in the pre-sale period, breaking the Aussie record for the most number of people in the Ticketek queue.
Some fans waited up to six hours in the pre-sale only to find all the tickets had been sold.
“It’s unclear how many tickets were sold on Monday’s pre-sale or have been set aside for Friday’s general sale, but based off the total, that’s roughly a one in ten success rate,” said a spokesperson for Swift.

It’s just like panning for gold.
