Noel Gallagher has made a public vow to give up drinking alcohol amid a worrying admission about his health.
The Gallagher brothers were known for their hedonistic party days back in the 90s, however, living the rock 'n' roll lifestyle isn't a sustainable one - with the majority of the industry's biggest stars making lifestyle changes as they get older.
The former Oasis guitarist is currently on tour with his High Flying Birds band, however, the musician has been doing some pretty dark introspection about his health after taking a look at his fellow aging rockstars.

Speaking to comedian and presenter Matt Morgan on a recent episode of his podcast, Gallagher made a bleak admission about his future.
Admitting that he understands why 70s rockers Aerosmith have chosen to throw in the towel, he said: "Well, I mean, they’ve got to be pushing, what, 70 now, innit? I mean, the way I feel f***ing now, I mean I’ll be f***ing lucky if I make it to 60.
"Just because Jagger is mincing around at 103 doesn’t mean everyone can."

Whether Gallagher is referring to his overall health or time left as a touring musician remains to be seen, however, it's not good news for anyone still hanging onto hopes of an Oasis reunion.
The guitarist also reflected on some healthier lifestyle choices he'd been thinking about, adding that he'd been thinking about giving up alcohol.
"I could do with getting off the booze, let’s put it that way," he said.
Gallagher's most recent comments mark a swift change from his previous laissez-faire attitude towards life and death, with the singer previously claiming that he had no interest in living past 75.

"Do I want to live another 50 years? No. Just think how s*** the world is now. I would rather not live through it. At 75 I want to go," he told BBC Radio 1 back in 2022.
Gallagher also revealed his bucket list of things that he wanted to complete before retiring, which included performing with various industry icons and making 'three great albums'.
His most recent High Flying Birds album Council Skies was released last June, which means that he has another two to go should he want to reach his goals.

As for anyone who's still holding out hope on seeing Noel and Liam get the band back together, there could be a chance after all - but it's not in the way you'd think.
After being inspired by watching ABBA Voyage in London, Noel said that he would be 'bang up' for a digitised Oasis reunion.
"If anybody wants to do an Oasis one, give us a shout. I would be bang up for it," he told Morgan on a separate podcast episode.
