Oasis fans must be having the time of their life this morning after the band announced that they were getting back together for a reunion tour after almost 15 years apart.
"The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised," the band have announced as they revealed the dates they'd be performing in the UK and Ireland next year.
It all kicks off on 4 July next year with an opening show in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, before shows in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

That won't be the end of it, however, as there are expected to be dates announced for an Oasis world tour afterwards, with dates yet to be announced.
As you can imagine, the Oasis fans who've been waiting for years for this are absolutely loving things, and whomever controls the playlist at LADbible Towers has stuck on nothing but Oasis songs since the announcement.
However, fans are also engaging in plenty of speculation over the tour dates as they're wondering whether there's going to be something else to come in the UK.

Specifically, Glastonbury.
The festival will run from 25 to 29 June next year, and that's got a lot of Oasis fans wondering whether the band will headline Glastonbury to open their tour instead of kicking things off in Cardiff.
Fans have said the tour dates announcement 'leaves a big gaping hole during Glastonbury week' and said they thought it would be 'nailed on' that Noel and Liam Gallagher would show up.

There definitely is a gap where they'd be able to do it, and it'd be huge.
Oasis last headlined Glastonbury in 2004, and since they've said that the shows 'will not be televised', them being on the Glasto broadcast would be the only way people not getting tickets could see Oasis on TV.
However, hold your horses, as according to PA they understand Oasis won't be performing at Glastonbury.

There's still plenty of time for that to change as the next iteration of the festival is almost a year away, but don't go buying a Glastonbury ticket thinking it's a guarantee that you'll get to see Oasis there.
Tickets for the Oasis reunion tour go on sale on 31 August, and you can bet there's going to be one hell of a scramble to get them.
Both Noel and Liam have tweeted 'this is it, this is happening' and announced that it'll be 9am in the UK and 8am in Ireland this Saturday when the time to buy tickets begins.
Now all you can do is wait for then and hope the website doesn't crash, although it probably will.

It's the only way you can be sure to see them.
