Noel Gallagher has issued a warning to fans who have spent hundreds on tickets to Oasis reunion tour

Noel Gallagher has issued a warning to fans who have spent hundreds on tickets to Oasis reunion tour

Noel has revealed what fans can expect from the shows, which are taking place across the UK and Ireland next year

If you're one of the lucky fans who managed to bag tickets to next year's Oasis gigs, you'll have likely spent hundreds securing your spot in the crowd.

Getting tickets was a bit of a scramble to say the least.

Not only did the first batch sell out in record time, but a special private ballot followed, as well as two extra dates, and there was a whole load of backlash over 'dynamic pricing'.

When the Gallagher brothers do kick off their much-anticipated tour, it will likely be filled with plenty of long-standing Oasis fans, who grew up with the band and have already seen the duo in concert before.

And those who have been to one of the band's previous shows may be expecting the same kind of carnage often associated with the gigs back in the nineties and early noughties.

However, Noel has now spoken out about what to expect decades on from the band's iconic performances, explaining it won't be the same as it once was.

“No, it won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old," he told The Sun.

"We’re too old to give a s**t now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”

So, what can fans expect to see at the shows?

Well, we now have two of the support acts confirmed.

Oasis took to social media to announce that The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft would be a 'very special guest' joining the band 'for all UK and Ireland Oasis Live '25 shows'.

Ashcroft said in a statement: "As a fan from day one, I was buzzing for many reasons when the news of Oasis’s return was announced.

“I can say with no exaggeration that the song-writing talent of Noel, and Liam’s pure spirit as a lead singer helped to inspire me to create some of my best work.

"It was the perfection of Live Forever that forced me to try and write my own.

"They dared to be great, made the dreams we had real and I will always remember those days with joy.

"Now it’s time to create more memories and I’m ready to bring it. See you next summer. Music is power."

Alongside Ascroft, Liverpool-based Indie band, Cast, have also been confirmed.

In a statement released in October, Oasis said: "The the line-up is now completed with the news that Cast will open at all nineteen instantly sold-out shows."
