Exact time you should refresh internet browser to give yourself best chance of getting Oasis tickets tomorrow

Reloading your web page at a specific time can apparently bolster your chances of bagging a good spot in the queue

'Twas the night before the general sale for Oasis went live, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring - not even a mouse.

And that's because we'll all be sound asleep and tucked up in bed for 9pm tonight (30 August) in preparation of the early rise tomorrow we've got tomorrow, which is set to see millions of music fans battle it out to bag a ticket.

That is unless you're one of the lucky buggers who received one of the coveted emails informing you that your application into the pre-sale ballot was successful, as you've got to try your luck tonight instead.

But even those who have got the opportunity to make an advanced purchase aren't guaranteed to get their hands on tickets, according to the Gallagher brothers.

So, Saturday's (31 August) general sale at 9am is shaping up to be quite chaotic by the sounds of things.

However, it seems there are a few tips and tricks you can try out which could apparently bump up your place in the queue for Oasis tickets tomorrow - including strategically refreshing your browser at a certain time.

As well as completing all of the obvious steps such as ensuring your internet connection is stable and having your bank details on hand, it's said that Oasis fans can potentially increase their odds of getting tickets with a few technical strategies.

Taking a leaf out of the book of seasoned concertgoers surely can't do you any harm... unless it is all an elaborate plan to sabotage others attempting to earn a spot at one of Liam and Noel's gigs next year.

Joking, of course.

Anyway, apparently, a cheeky little refresh of the page at a specific time can work wonders, according to the Radio Times.

The publication claimed that the best tactic is to get on your preferred ticket site about ten minutes before the general sale begins and to then sit patiently for nine minutes and 50 seconds.

But ten seconds before the clock strikes 9am, you can pull the trigger on the refresh button and hopefully earn yourself a decent spot in the queue.

It goes without saying, but under no circumstances should you reload the page once you are finally in the queue, as you could end up being booted to the back of the line.

Your spot should automatically update itself as ticket sales progress, so although you may need the patience of a saint, it's best to just sit tight.
