A security guard has claimed that he got sacked over his behaviour while working at a Taylor Swift concert.
The man, known as Calvin Denker on TikTok, went viral back in 2023 after a Taylor Swift fan filmed him mouthing some of the lyrics during her show in Minneapolis, US.
He made three videos during the saga, with two getting about 1.5 million views on the social media app, as well as covering the controversy that followed his actions, which included the response from the company he worked for.

The content creator explained that getting put on a Taylor Swift concert was something that he 'always wanted to work', and that being security at the show was a win-win, as he didn't have to pay for tickets - which have been known to be notoriously expensive.
As a self-proclaimed Swifty, he was aware of the fact that he couldn't look away from the crowd and therefore, wouldn't be able to see one of his favourite musicians perform.
He further explained: "After night one, I was realising how close Taylor Swift was getting to me, so I really wanted to get a photo to document it.

"So I handed out these little pieces of paper that said I wasn't allowed to have my phone out, but if Taylor Swift comes right behind me, please take a photo of me and text it to my number," he said.
But this is where the problems began for Calvin.
A few days after he made the TikTok, the security company that he was working for gave him the sack as he had 'violated the rule of not taking photos with performers'.
He highlighted: "The main issue that they had was with my follow up video, where I said I handed out pieces of paper to the people in front of me to ask to be sent any photos that I made my way into."

Calvin also said that he was doing his job, as he didn't take his own phone out, with all the photos of him being taken by fans from behind the barrier.
And above all else, Swift - who is currently in the UK for her Eras tour - was kept safe and the show went ahead incident-free.
Despite being fired, he was put on shift for the upcoming Ed Sheeran concert a month after HR said they would 'get back to him' on the possibility of keeping his job if he deleted the viral TikToks.
Calvin showed up to work, and was put in a slightly different spot than he was at the Swift concert - something he said he was fine with.

He then revealed: "After I had completed 7 hours of my shift, I was told to go talk to HR, where the same woman who had called me a month ago was upset with me for still working, even though I was assigned more shifts and I hadn't heard anything back from her."
The security guard signed off by saying that he enjoyed the experience of working the concerts, and asked not to send hate to the security company.
Users were gutted for Calvin in the comments section.

One revealed: "My mom ran HR for a company for decades. the reason they kept scheduling after they 'fired' you was so when you didn't show up, they had a reason to."
Another said: "You better get paid for that last shift!!" and a third shared: "I was row 6 in A2 and I thought you looked like you were having a blast AND still doing your job…sorry this happened."
LADbible has contacted the security company who sacked Calvin for comment.
