Netflix has announced key details on the surprising number of episodes for Black Mirror season six.
After a four-year wait, Black Mirror is returning for a sixth season and the epic cast consists of Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Salma Hayek Pinault and many more.
The dark sci-fi anthology series, created by writer and satirist Charlie Brooker, is usually set in a dystopian near-future.

But back in 2020 fans got a scare after Brooker questioned whether the world was interested in seeing more episodes.
"I've been busy, doing things. I don't know what I can say about what I'm doing and not doing," he explained in an interview with the Radio Times.
"At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I’m not working away on one of those.

"I’m sort of keen to revisit my comic skill set, so I’ve been writing scripts aimed at making myself laugh.”
Thankfully the new season has been confirmed after Netflix dropped a trailer on us last month.
And now, the streaming service has revealed key details for the five..yes five new episodes.

The titles of each episode are:
1) Joan is Awful
2) Loch Henry
3) Beyond the Sea

4) Mazey Day
5) Demon 79
Episode one will follow the story of a woman (Salma Hayek) who discovers a streaming platform has launched a TV drama adaptation of her life.

Annie Murphy, Michael Cera, Rob Delaney, Ben Barnes, and Himesh Patel will also star.
Episode two will feature Samuel Blenkin, Myha'la Herrold, Daniel Portman, John Hannah, and Monica Dolan, while the third episode will star Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Auden Thornton, and Rory Culkin.
In episode four you'll see Zazie Beetz, Clara Rugaard, and Danny Ramirez.
Meanwhile in the fifth and final episode of the season, Anjana Vasan, Paapa Essiedu, Katherine Rose Morley, and David Shields will all star.
Reacting to the news, some fans were not totally on board with the number of episodes on show, as one person commented: "Only 5 episodes after how long we’ve waited for a new season…? you hate our guts just say it."
Another added: "That’s it?!? Five episodes."
I mean if you take into account that season one and two only had three episodes, I'd say it's not the worst news in the world.
Black Mirror season six will be available to watch in June next month on Netflix.
