Netflix's word-of-mouth sensation Baby Reindeer has finally been knocked off its top spot on the streaming giant's list of top TV shows.
And the show pushing it down the list? Another show based on a true story that has shocked viewers to their core.
Baby Reindeer shot up to the top of Netflix in early April, and in the month and a bit since then, it's become all everyone has spoken as the real life story it is based on unravels.
Created by comedian Richard Gadd, it also stars the Scottish national in the leading role of Donny Dunn as he struggles to become a full-time comedian, while working a bar job in a London pub.

It is in this pub that he meets Martha Scott (Jessica Gunning), a former lawyer who ends up stalking Donny.
Dubbed a 'true story' in the very first episode, it has left viewers wide-eyed as it explores the themes relating to being stalked - from both sides - as well as other serious issues such as sexual abuse.
Despite Gadd pleading with viewers not to try and find the 'real Martha' who he claims stalked him in real life, social media users were quick to point the finger at both his alleged stalker and alleged sexual abuser.

It cumulated in a Scottish lady called Fiona Harvey, who was dubbed the 'real Martha' from her social media posts, doing an interview with Piers Morgan on his Talk TV show Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Following this, Gadd said: "I don’t agree with the sleuth thing. I’ve put out a statement publicly saying I want the show to be received as a piece of art, and I want the show to people to enjoy as a piece of art.
"I’m called Donny Dunn. It exists in a sort of fictional realm, even though it’s based on truth, it exists in a fictional realm, let’s enjoy the world that I’ve created."
Well, the bubble of Baby Reindeer seems to have finally been burst with the show put down to third place in Netflix's list of its top 10 most watched shows in the United Kingdom.

Knocking it off the top spot was Netflix's latest hit documentary, titled Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal.
The show is based on the 2015 cyber attack on dating website Ashley Madison, a platform for married individuals to explore sexual relationships outside of wedlock.
Its catchphrase was to the point: 'Life is short. Have an affair.'

The cyber attack exposed three million users, who were left worried that their interactions on the site would be revealed too.
There were real life consequences for what happened - numerous marriages fell apart and several people lost their jobs following the data being leaked to the public.
At least two people died by suicide due to the incident.

Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal took the top spot but after one day was immediately bumped down to second by the third season of Bridgerton with that being the current order of things today.
