Netflix has just added a critically acclaimed gangster film you might never have heard of before.
It's getting harder to unearth some previously hidden gems in the movie market but there might be just the treat for you in the form of The Outfit.
Watch the trailer:
Mark Rylance leads a star-studded cast in The Outfit, which was penned by the guy who co-wrote World War Two codebreaking thriller The Imitation Game.

Rylance plays Leonard Burling, a humble tailor in 1956 Chicago with a shop in gang-controlled territory.
Burling knows the deal and plays along with the gang's activities, but one night, when a man with a gunshot wound shows up at his shop, things get thrown topsy-turvy.
We won't spoil any more of the gangster film than that, but you can probably guess that things are going to take a turn for the dramatic and it's better to let The Outfit wow you itself.

Also in the cast are Johnny Flynn, Simon Russell Beale, Zoey Deutch, Dylan O'Brien, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Alan Mehdizadeh.
The movie proved to be a hit with the critics, as The Outfit is rocking a sweet 85 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes from those who tout the movie as one for 'fans of old-school thrillers'.
Then again, with an audience score of 92 per cent, it seems as though general viewers liked it even more.
A very satisfied viewer gave the film '10/10' and called it 'one of the best movies I have seen in a while', with specific praise for the twists in the film.

They urged people to pay attention to every detail and line of dialogue, saying it was a 'precise' movie where each and every detail mattered.

Others praised the small-scale nature of the film, saying it basically takes place in two rooms and is all the more engaging for it.
