As well as Jodie Comer, the 2023 film stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Joel Fry

If you're desperate for a dose of Jodie Comer in your life but have already watched Killing Eve a million times, you might want to head over to a certain streaming platform to get your fix.

As according to Netflix users who have already seen the film starring the Liverpudlian actress, 31, which has just dropped on the platform, it's not one to miss.

Comer seems to have the Midas Touch when it comes to movies and series, as everything she lends her talents to becomes an instant hit - and according to fans, The End We Start From is no different.

The Brit actress, best known for her role as sociopathic assassin Villanelle, stars alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Katherine Waterston and Mark Strong in the survival film which was originally released last year.

Although Comer is renowned for her extraordinary ability to switch between multiple accents, she sticks to Scouse while taking on the role of the unnamed pregnant protagonist.

Despite the star slipping in a bit of her own identity into the character, the person she is playing is only listed in the credits as 'Woman' - and the other cast members don't do much better in the name department either.

The End We Start From follows the journey of a mum-to-be whose waters break on the same day that London is flooded by relentless rain, forcing her and millions of others to flee their homes for safety.

Excess water is obviously a bit of a running theme throughout, if you haven't gathered.

Woman and her husband, R, are then forced to navigate a terrifying ecological disaster while protecting their newborn son, Zeb, as well as dealing with the fallout of the flood and fighting for survival.

Be warned though, it's pretty graphic in parts - including in a scene where Comer has her legs akimbo while giving birth.

Comedian Kevin Hart couldn't even look at an image of the actress in the hospital bed with only a bin bag to protect her modesty in between takes during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, so don't say we didn't warn you.

But apart from a brutal child birth, The End We Start From is said to be an extremely powerful and 'thought-provoking' project which managed to leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

It has an 88 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The flick dropped on Netflix last Wednesday (19 June) and has already received a string of rave reviews from fans.
