Despite it being in Spanish, which shouldn’t be that big a deal as long as you’re OK with subtitles, fans have been gripped by the show, which has now captured worldwide attention.
Directed by Carlos Villegas Rosales and written by José Vicente Spataro, the telenovela tells the tale of Brenda Rey, portrayed by Camila Valero, who is a social media influencer left on her own in the world by her mother, who abandoned her as a baby.
Rey grew up homeless and was sexually abused, but eventually turned things around and made a name for herself.

However, she wants revenge on the people who left her at birth, and – by the sounds of things – nothing is going to stop her getting that revenge.
The synopsis states: “When she was an infant, four private-school kids left Brenda Ray in the middle of the woods, in a shack.
“Brenda grew up homeless and was sexually abused, but through it all, she was determined to crawl her way out of poverty and make a name for herself.
“Now she’s a powerful social media influencer with connections and resources people only dream of.

“With the help of her manager, Alex, she’s determined to find every single one of them, including the headmistress who enabled it all.”
