Two of the most re-watched series on Netflix are about to be removed from the platform.

I mean, let’s be honest, no matter how many new shows and films the streamer adds, plenty of us just go back to binging our old favourites such as Schitt’s Creek, Brooklyn 99 and Breaking Bad.

Even Stranger Things has been a great series for rewatching over the past few years and now I guess we’ve got even more episodes to add into that rotation thanks to the new season drop.

But it’s bad news for fans of certain shows as two of Netflix’s most rewatches titles are being wiped away later this month.

Now, brace yourselves UK and US LADs, Supernatural is getting taken down in a matter of weeks and then soon after that, Friends will be gone.

The two re-watched shows saying bye-bye

So, for you subscribers over in the US, Supernatural will be leaving Netflix on 18 December.

First broadcast back in 2005, the show ran for a whopping 15 seasons with a huge 327 episodes until it ended in 2020.

The show stars Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they hunt the likes of monsters, ghosts, demons and other supernatural beings. Supernatural has a whopping 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and Americans will want to look elsewhere for their rewatches.

Luckily in the UK, the series is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

But Brits are going to be losing Friends on Netflix on 30 December.

Users on Reddit are gutted about this as one wrote: “Nooooo!!!! I listen to Friends every night to help me fall asleep.

“I've watched it so many times now, I can picture the scenes in my head as i listen. What am I gonna do now?”

As plenty echoed: “Wtf am I going to do?”

It’s rumoured this change is happening as HBO Max is set to launch in the UK in the near future and Friends will feature.

Other shows leaving Netflix

Friends and Supernatural aren’t the only shows being removed with a whole host of titles leaving Netflix in the UK alone this month.

The original Happy Gilmore will be gone on the 10 December, Forgetting Sarah Marshall on the 12th, and The Matrix on the 14th.

Just before 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple arrives in cinemas next month, 28 Weeks Later is leaving Netflix on 15 December.

As for TV series in the UK, Parenthood will also be wiped on the 15th as well as Married to a Psychopath on the 19th and Death to 2020 on 11th.
