Streaming services seem to constantly be getting more and more expensive.
First, Netflix cancelled one of its most popular plans, forcing new subscribers to pay an extra £4 a month to watch ad-free content.
Then, the streaming giant cracked down on sharing accounts so you can't even share the increased cost with your mates.

But the latest ultimatum to come from the streamer has left people cancelling their subscriptions due to 'pure greed.'
Subscribers to Netflix's cheapest ad-free plan currently pay £6.99 a month for the service, but not for long.
In July of last year, this 'basic' plan was axed for new and rejoining subscribers, with any new members being forced to sign up for the streamer's 'standard' plan at £10.99 a month if they wanted to enjoy ad-free content.

Netflix initially allowed those who were already subscribed to the 'basic' plan to continue on it, but 12 months later, they are losing the privilege.
On 31 July, we will be saying goodbye to the £6.99 a month option for good - meaning that people will either have to upgrade to a pricier plan to dodge ads or get ready for a life of ad-filled shows.
One person shared a screenshot on Reddit of a message they'd received about the upcoming change.
It read: "Your last day to watch Netflix is July 13th. Choose a new plan to keep watching."

They complained that Netflix would not allow them to 'watch the last few weeks of my subscription without resubscribing.'
"There's no option to continue watching without selecting a new plan," the user wrote.
And people aren't happy with the ultimatum, with many choosing to cancel their subscriptions altogether.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one person wrote: "Went to cancel Netflix because raising the prices unless I want to watch ads is the last straw, and this undismissable popup came up when I logged in. Lmaooooo really Netflix? GTFOutta here!!!!"
Another wrote: "Netflix can f**k off with their adverts. Everybody needs to unsubscribe until they drop them. Don't upgrade for twice the price for ad-free. It's pure greed. F**k 'em."
And a third echoed the sentiment, adding: "Pure greed. Time to cancel them all. I will go back to my DVDs."
Netflix currently has three plans for subscribers to choose from - 'standard with adverts' which costs £4.99 a month, 'standard' at £10.99 a month and 'premium' at £17.99 a month.
