Pamela Anderson is ready to tell ‘the real story’ after the release of Disney+ series Pam &Tommy.
First aired last month, the controversial show depicted the infamous nineties scandal that saw Anderson’s sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee leaked to the public.
Starring Lily James as Anderson alongside Sebastian Stan as Lee, the series featured everything from full-frontal nudity to a talking penis, voiced by Jason Mantzoukas.

Now, in a bid to set the record straight, Anderson has announced a new Netflix documentary that will provide exclusive access to her private life.
Previously, the Baywatch star declined to comment on the show.
However, she's now broken her silence with a handwritten note shared on the official Netflix Twitter account.

“My life/ A thousand imperfections/ A million misperceptions/ Wicked, wild and lost/ Nothing to live up to /I can only surprise you /Not a victim, but a survivor /And alive to tell the real story", it read.
Anderson’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee, will serve as a producer on the project. He reposted the note on his Instagram story, emphasising the phrase ‘the real story,’ along with her younger son, Dylan Jagger Lee.
Fans can expect to see a stripped-down, intimate version of Anderson, as she has provided access to archival footage and personal journals from her past.
The film’s logline reads: "An intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back at her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey."
The documentary has actually been in the making for several years prior to being picked up by Netflix, but the release date is not known as of yet.

Pamela and Tommy were bound in a whirlwind romance, tying the knot in Cancun just six weeks after they met in December 1994.
The pair were then embroiled in a sex tape scandal, and filed a $10 million lawsuit in an attempt to prevent the tape from being published.
However, the suit was eventually dropped, with the pair calling off their marriage in 1998.
In defence of the raunchy sex scenes depicted in the show, Lily James previously told The Sun: “We really felt that the sex scenes had to be a part of the story and had to be essential to the script and progressing their relationship and looking at what happened.”
