Social media users are ‘in tears’ of laughter after clocking a bizarre framed clipping on Gregg Wallace’s wall, after the MasterChef host posted a video tour of his office on Instagram.
See if you can spot it in the video below:
Earlier today, Wallace shared a video inviting fans to ‘have a look around’ his office at home, explaining how he’d been out for a few drinks the night before with his family and was about to go for breakfast with his ‘long-suffering PA’ Helen.
He showed the camera a ‘fleece that Anna bought me for Christmas’ and a neck pillow he uses when he has a nap, along with a decorative elephant he bought from an antique shop.
“There’s mostly cookery books there,” Wallace said, panning along a bookshelf that runs along one side of the room.
He continued: “And then most of these are history books.
“And then you’ve got lots of pictures on the wall.”
He then zoomed out to reveal the full extent of his showbiz memorabilia, including artwork that depicted Wallace and his fellow MasterChef presenter John Torode in the style of Reservoir Dogs gangsters – walking along wearing black suits and sunglasses.
But there was one picture in particular that caught people’s attention, and that’s a framed clipping from a 2013 Daily Mail article titled ‘How does he do it? MasterChef’s Gregg Wallace, 48, dating Twitter woman aged 22’.
At the time, Wallace had been dating Anne-Marie Sterpini, who went on to become his fourth wife after they married in 2016.
After spotting the cut-out, one person tweeted: “Gregg Wallace just posted a photo of his office wall on Instagram and I am in tears at this.”
Another commented: “Christ on toast, what an absolute freak!”
Sharing a cropped image of that Reservoir Dogs poster, another wrote: “Dudes rock.”
It’s not even the first time Wallace’s Instagram content has baffled the public, either.
In 2020, many people noticed he had a tendency to comment underneath his wife’s social media photos with a slightly unusual request – demanding her to ‘print’ the snaps.
After she posted a selfie and captioned the post ‘Keep on smiling’, Wallace popped up to say: “Bella print it.”
He also commented on a photo of their son Sid to say: “Print it.”
And after she shared another picture of Sid cuddling a huge teddy bear in his cot, Wallace wrote: “Amazing PRINT IT!!!!!!”
