Eamonn Holmes has claimed Phillip Schofield and his younger lover had ‘playtime’ Thursdays, and would ‘hit the town’ before heading back to Schofield’s London home.
Holmes has been a vocal critic of Schofield in the wake of the presenter’s affair scandal, arguing that ITV had been ‘taken for fools’ after he admitted having an affair with a much younger colleague.
"One day I will tell the story,” he vowed.

That day came last night, when Holmes appeared on GB News’ Dan Wootton Tonight to discuss his thoughts on the matter, claiming Schofield would regularly invite his younger lover to his home.
Host Dan Wootton said he remembered the ‘young man’ being a ‘non-negotiable part of Phillip’s life’, claiming there were taxis ‘ferrying' him between the studio and Schofield’s house.
He then asked Holmes what he could recall, with the former This Morning presenter replying: “I didn’t know, but I’ve subsequently found out - from a very, very good source, because he would arrive much earlier in the morning than I would for the programme - that he was delivered from Phillip’s London home.
“Usually on a Friday morning, because Thursday was playtime when he and Phillip would hit the town and then he obviously stayed overnight.
"There are records to show that he was brought in the next day separately in cars paid for by ITV.”
Holmes said the younger man was a ‘lovely fella’ and ‘really talented’, with Wootton asking if he was still in touch with the former employee.
Explaining that he wasn’t, but that wife Ruth Langsford is, Holmes continued: "I think life's tough for him. I ask why Schofield put that statement out. I’d say that suddenly you ask a question of that young colleague and you’re faced with top, top London lawyers.
"There’s an incredible duty of care that needs to go towards that young man. This hasthtag be kind company don’t seem to care when people harm themselves or commit suicide through their programmes so why would they care about people who aren’t known behind the scenes?"
As for what exactly he knew about the clandestine relationship, Holmes added: “The only thing I ever knew was that, oh, they’re very close, oh Phillip’s his boyfriend. The lad would never admit anything like that to us.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Holmes also called for Schofield’s ex-co-host Holly Willoughby to leave the show as well.
He said: "Not only should Phillip go, but Holly should follow him out the door.
"I don’t think you’ll ever see Holly back on the couch again. Holly doesn’t know people’s names, either. This is legendary within the production teams, that's how distant they are and how they just don’t care.
"There are people who say for her it's not about what Phillip did, it's not about protecting the young fella involved.”
