Shania Twain has given music fans a cheeky update to the lyrics of ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ by replacing the Brad Pitt lyric with someone else.
In the 1997 hit country-pop track, the chart-topping singer says that a man needs a lot more than a car, a rocket scientist job, or being Brad Pitt in order to win her affection.

It is one of the most glorious name drops in music and references a time when the Fight Club star was one of the world’s biggest heartthrobs in the '90s.
Now, more than two decades after the hit song took over the airwaves and CD players, Twain was asked who she would pick if she wrote the song today.
Sadly for Pitt, he’s been swapped out for someone else.

The lucky man who Twain would mention is Channing Tatum. Speaking in the new issue of Radio Times, the 57-year-old was initially stumped about how the Magic Mike actor’s name would sound within the verse. “I’m trying to think how I would sing that,” she said.
She then performed the lyric with Tatum’s name: “’Ok, so you’re Channing Tatum.’”
“Yeah, that works,” she decided.
Tatum most recently returned to the big screen as Magic Mike in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which Twain had recently watched. Naturally, the film had a lasting impression and she hinted that recency bias might have influenced her decision to include Tatum in Pitt’s place.

Last year while performing the iconic hit at the People’s Choice Awards, Twain subbed in Ryan Reynolds’ name during the infamous line.
While wearing a pink rhinestone jumpsuit with chaps and pink wig at the December 2022 ceremony, Twain sang: “So, you’re Ryan Reynolds.”
The Deadpool star was beyond stunned and was captured on camera for our viewing pleasure. “Oh my God, me?” he mouthed in response and who wouldn’t react like that.

Has anyone checked on Brad Pitt since he’s been replaced not once but twice?
Twain was at the ceremony to pick up the Music Icon Award which was presented to her by Pose actor Billy Porter.
Twain, who released her new album Queen of Me last month, used her acceptance speech to thank fans, before paying a touching tribute to her mother Sharon Morrison, who died in 1987 when Twain was just 22.

“I always miss my mother at these moments in my life,” she said.
“She would have loved watching her little girl living this moment right now, but my fans and team, you are the ones who really fill that space when - not my mother’s space - but just that you are here with me and celebrating and you make me feel loved and special.
"I will always be grateful for that. Thank you.”
