Sopranos star Peter Bogdanovich has died aged 82.
The tragic news was confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter by the actor's daughter Antonia Bogdanovich.
Mr Bogdanovich died of natural causes at his Los Angeles home shortly after midnight on Thursday (6 January).
The Hollywood giant is one of the most iconic names in film, directing the 1971 classic The Last Picture Show and starring in Kill Bill and The Sopranos as Dr Elliot Kupferberg.
Over the years, countless filmmakers, such as Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright and Wes Anderson, have cited Mr Bogdanovich as and inspiration.
