If you can’t wait for the holidays to finally arrive, get ready because Apple TV+ is dropping one of the most expensive Christmas flicks of all time today (November 11).
Spirited is a modern-day retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

While this classic story has been reinvented countless times, this new retelling offers a fresh spin with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell at the helm for this Christmas musical extravaganza.
The official synopsis reads: "Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Will Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits.
"But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself re-examining his own past, present and future.
"For the first time, A Christmas Carol is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale."

Slash Films reported that the movie required a whopping $75 million (AUD $113m or £63.9m) budget, which can be mostly attributed to its flashy musical numbers.
The film is directed by Sean Anders (Horrible Bosses 2, That’s My Boy and Instant Family), who wrote the script alongside his long-time collaborator John Morris.
And for big-time Deadpool fans, this might just be the only time you see Reynolds bust out a move.
He recently sat down with Collider to talk about those intimidating musical sequences.

He said: “I would say this is a one-time-only deal, but it was a thrill, you know? I think as I'm getting older, I like taking big swings at things.”
The actor also gushed about his co-star Will Ferrell, who, admittedly, he’s looked up to since his early days on Saturday Night Live.
He said: “You'd be hard-pressed to find somebody whose contributed more to the comedic landscape and lexicon than Will Ferrell.

“I mean, he's a guy that, we say and do so many things these days without even realising you could attribute that to Will, or something Will said in a movie.
“We even said it as like, things that he's done are like social lubricants to get through an awkward moment, or something. So it's just like, I love what he's contributed to this medium, and art form, and he's one of a kind.”
Start warming up those vocal cords because Spirited drops on Apple TV+ today (November 11).
