Movie fans on Reddit have said that rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love has one of the best plot twists in movie history.
For those who haven't yet watched, the 2011 movie follows Cal (Steve Carell), whose life changes dramatically when his wife Emily (Julianne Moore) reveals she has been having a affair and wants a divorce.
Now, Cal has to navigate the single scene with a little help from his professional bachelor friend Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling).

While teaching Cal how to seduce woman and become the ultimate player, Jacob meets Hannah (Emma Stone), and he begins to re-examine his views on sex, love and women as he begins to fall in love with her.
At first, these two storylines don't necessarily appear related to one another - until they come to a head and it's revealed in a huge plot twist that Hannah is actually Cal's daughter.
Upon realising that his daughter is now dating this man, who previously was something of a player, Cal demands that they breakup. Obviously they do not and chaos ensues, which only continues when Cal's neighbour Bernie (John Carrol Lynch) arrives and attacks Cal believing he has been sleeping with his underage daughter.

The fight continues even further when David Lindhagen (Kevin Bacon), the man with whom Emily was having an affair arrives, and Jacob proceeds to punch him.
Talking about the unexpected reveal, Reddit user @frogjoker wrote: "I love a good twist ending or surprise reveal.
"Horror and thrillers have had a monopoly on these plot elements for many years. I contest that the revelation of Hannah bringing her boyfriend to meet her family is one of the most surprising, satisfying scenes that utilizes intentional misdirection by any writing team ever. I just love it."

Other users commented in agreement, with one saying: "That whole climax scene is incredible. Carell swinging at Gosling for dating his daughter; Gosling going after Bacon for ruining Carell’s marriage; Lynch (the babysitter’s father) tackling Carell over nude pics his daughter intended to give him but never did; and Carell’s son shunning him because he had an obsessive crush on the babysitter."
Another said: "This is why I like Ryan Gosling better in comedic roles, his timing is perfect here."
