As far as the story goes, the film follows a killer Clown (Art the Clown) who haunts a teenage girl and her brother on Halloween.
After watching the flick, viewers have been 'too scared to sleep', while former WWE superstar Chris Jericho claims that things got so intense that he 'puked'.
Director Damien Leone has now gone and addressed a particular penis scene that could have gone 'too far'.
Leone told Variety: "Art the Clown likes to play with people’s entrails.

"There’s the scene where he cuts off a man’s penis.
"He could have taken it further. We had conversations of things he could do once he took the guy’s penis off.
"We explored those and joked about it, but then we said, 'No, that’s way too far. That’s too distasteful.'"

Despite the pure violence of the film, horror fans have left raving reviews on social media, with one person writing: "Terrifier 2 is now in theatres and it’s likely the bloodiest, bonkers, most brutal horror flick you’ll see all year.
"An epic 2.5 hours of gory mayhem that annihilates boundaries.
"If you were a fan of the first film, don’t miss your chance to see this on the big screen."
Another added: "Terrifier 2 you have truly outdone yourself. So much chaos. So much camp. 2022 has been solidified as the greatest year in horror movie history."

Meanwhile a third fan, who watched it in cinema, explained: "Terrifier 2 was an amazing gory mess. The guy behind me passed out cold and crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good, I overheard him say, and walking out the theatre door I heard a guy puking hard and loud in the bathroom."
"My friend passed out and the theatre called an ambulance. Highly recommended," a fourth person added.
Someone else said: ""Holy s***! #Terrifier2 was fantastic! Definitely not for the weak stomachs! Someone actually fainted during my screening of this movie."

Producer Steve Barton posted a warning on his Twitter page for potential viewers, which read: "This movie contains scenes of graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror.
"Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to light headedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.
"There have already been numerous instances of fainting and vomiting in theatres. For those choosing to continue, you have been warned…"
