The Masked Singer is back on ITV, which only means one thing: there are brand new clues for fans to pine over.
The popular singing show sees celebrities dressing up in larger-than-life costumes and performing popular songs to a panel of judges who try to work out who is indeed “behind the mask”.
The reality show is based on the South Korean show King of Mask Singer, which has since spread across the globe and has at last reached our shores.
Who is Robobunny on The Masked Singer?
With two stars already being unveiled on the show, there are only 10 contestants left to decipher before the winner of The Masked Singer 2021 can be revealed. One of those contestants is hiding behind “Robobunny”, but who could it be?
The half-bunny, half-robot character stole the hearts of the audience with their cover of Saving All My Love For You by Whitney Houston, with Davina McCall dubbing their performance as “beautiful”.
As is the way with all characters in The Masked Singer, Robobunny provided a few ambiguous clues, like: “You thought I was a real tough guy, aye? That’s just my shell. I’m actually a real softie, who’s part of a machine.”
Robobunny continued: “Now I’m not going to ‘rabbit’ on about hard exterior but I will say that I’m here to ‘Control-Alt-Delete’ what you know about me.”
“I might be made of metal but that doesn’t stop me making a splash,” they finished.
As can be expected, home-viewers went wild on Twitter in an attempt to guess who the character could be.
Some Twitter users expressed that Robobunny could be Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds, due to his voice and the reference to “making a splash”.
Other fans are convinced that Robobunny could be two people, due to the sheer size of the elaborate costume and the character’s voice, which sounds like two different people speaking. And what better duo than Ant and Dec could be hiding behind the character?
Elsewhere, the judges have guessed that Robobunny could be Vinnie Jones, Drake and Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness.
Robobunny recently sang Shallow from A Star is Born by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. The clues provided at that time were a police badge, cowboy boots, a ranch and line dancing.
