It seems we now might have to accompany the person who offers to brew-up in the office, as it appears people are adding all sorts into their cuppas.
One man has managed to horrify the nation by defiling the Great British beverage with a bizarre ingredient.
Take a look here:
I know we all have our own rituals when it comes to sticking the kettle on, but this has taken the biscuit.

A man by the name of Lem shared a video of his stomach-churning method on his TikTok account, @lemtiktok7.
At first, nothing seems too scary - the tea bags are busy doing their thing in the mugs and a packet of biscuits is waiting on standby ready to get dunked.
But instead of grabbing the milk like the rest of us, Lem instead reached for a carton of custard.
Yep - the runny yellow liquid we bang on our apple pies.

It's not clear if he warmed it up either, so let's hope he didn't get surprised by a lump in there.
The man proceeded to give the custard a good stir into his cup of tea, much to the horror of thousands of TikTok users.
He captioned the clip: "Custard in a cuppa trust me, don't knock it till you try it."

The Brit explained he came up with the custard concoction after he had once ran out of milk and his 'initiative kicked in'.
Well, he certainly threw caution to the wind with that one.
His stomach-churning post prompted an outrage on social media, as people branded his method 'horrifying'.
One said: "This is an actual sin, curdled egg tea isn't the one."

Another joked: "Death or custard in tea... hmm I'll get back to you."
A third fumed: "As a Yorkshire man this is an outrage! You're a wrong-un! Your initiative has lead you down the path of stupidity."
Another asked: "Who has custard in but not milk?"

And a fifth said: "I feel like a law has just been broken."
Others went on to share their strange additions to their brew - including vanilla syrup, double cream, and even butter.
Some even supported the man's resourcefulness and claimed they were also partial to a dollop of custard in their cuppas.
It's truly terrifying to know that these people could be walking among us.
Have they not heard, if it's not broke, don't fix it?
I, for one, won't be taking a leaf out of Lem's book.
