A woman has claimed she got in trouble with her boss after going on holiday and letting her identical twin cover for her at work until she got back.
Now, dear reader, as a twin let me just debunk some of the common myths people have about us.
No, we aren't psychic and we can't feel each other's pain, we don't finish each other's sentences by just instinctively knowing what the other is going to say.

One area I can't comment on is what goes on with identical twins, because I ain't one, but it seems that their ability to get up to shenanigans is extensive.
There's the twins who decided to go on different diets because they were curious about what would happen, the twins who randomly discovered each other's existence and of course the twins who are basically trying to live the exact same life by sharing literally everything.
Apparently you can add job-sharing to the list of things identical twins can give a go, though if that's the case it's probably best not to make videos pointing out the subterfuge.

TikToking twins Ari and Noe post a lot of videos about the things they do together and how similar they look, but recently they claimed they got caught out after their boss watched one of their videos.
According to the TikTokers, Ari went off on holiday and got her twin sister to cover for her at work while she was away, only their boss saw a video they made about it and sent in an angry email.
She posted the supposed email in another video, where her boss John said he was 'utterly appalled' by the switcheroo employed when Ari's request for leave was denied.
The message contained a formal warning along with a demand for an explanation and apology, and was signed off 'disappointed regards' so it'd seem like she's in hot water for getting her twin to take her place at work.
Of course there are some in the comments who reckon they can detect the whiff of bulls**t about this one, as if they were a pair of TikToking twins this is precisely the sort of thing they'd do for some content.

Some viewers thought there was 'way too much emotion in that email' from her boss to be real, and that it 'clearly isn't a real email'.
They pointed towards some of the uses of language, as while it's always nice to see the word 'gallivant' being used one commenter remarked it seemed like 'John' was 'trying to use all his SAT words' and it was all 'a bit much'.
Whether this is true or not, people did enjoy the 'disappointed regards' sign-off and reckoned they might use it again in the future.
