Tom Holland was born in 1996 in South West London, where he lived with his parents and his three younger brothers. Tom began his career as a dancer, starting this hobby at the age of nine at a dance school in Wimbledon.

After an audition and two years of training, Tom won the part of the protagonist's best friend and took to the stage on his debut performance at the West End’s Victoria Palace Theatre in 2008.
