Bill Maher has come under fire after the American TV host said Jada Pinkett Smith should 'just put on a f**king wig like everybody else'.
Speaking on his HBO series, Real Time With Bill Maher, he's chucked in his two cents on that infamous Oscars slap and people were not impressed.
“If you are so lucky in life as to have that be your medical problem, just say, ‘Thank God,’” Maher cracked to his guests.

“It’s not life threatening. It’s part of — for most people, 80 per cent of men, 50 per cent of women — it’s part of ageing.
“Ageing is, trust me I know, it’s the degradation of the flesh. It happens to all of us.

“And you know, just put on a f**king wig like everybody else at the Oscars if it bothers you so much.”
As Maher weighed in on the dramatic moment Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for comparing his wife to GI Jane, his audience and guests on the show - attorney Laura Coates and former presidential and New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang - seemed to agree with him.
They expressed concern over a room full of 'woke' movie stars who stood to applaud Smith’s Best Actor award only moments after his attack on Rock.
“So the fact that he was there to be like ‘here’s my award’ in and of itself was shocking, let alone a standing ovation," Coates said.

While people on the show backed Maher's comments, they weren't as well received on social media.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Isn't that enough? Like what else could she possibly need? Yes it's not lupus but it can be painful. Not to mention stressful to the point of depression from losing your hair. I pray it's a mild case.”
Another said: “How do we know she only has alopecia? You’ve been to her doctor's visits? Alopecia is also not associated solely w/ageing as children and teens can have Alopecia. The commitment to ignorance this week has been wild.”
A third wrote: “Another man coming for Jada instead of Will. Jada did not slap that idiot.”

But others sided with Maher, with one viewer saying: “Yes! She could [have] cancer like my mom did. Or live in the Ukraine. Or just barely be eking by like a big percent of Americans. Or... Eh, I could go on for hours, but you get the point.”
The outburst, which saw Will Smith storm the stage and slap Chris Rock before returning to his seat and shouting 'keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth', has left people divided.
The Oscar winner has since resigned from the Academy in the wake of the incident and he says he's heartbroken by the decision.
