Viewers of The 1% Club have been left well and truly pickled over a question asked to the contestants.
This ITV show is renowned for making people question their intelligence - as well as their sanity - as they sit at home and attempt to take on questions that could have earned them a hefty reward had they entered the competition.
There have been countless times where viewers have been either left absolutely raging over an answer, or wondering whether reality is real, and for good reason.

While many might think a bit of a brainteaser is enough to keep your mind in tip top shape, The 1% Club is something that might do the opposite.
With 100 contestants whittled down as they attempt to win the £100,000 prize, viewers can’t help but wonder how they manage to end up in the final round.
One example of a person being able to get to the £98,000 question was Hillal, who appeared on season 3 earlier this year with a bang and managed to bash out answers like there’s no tomorrow.

In the final, she was asked a question which had viewers questioning their sanity as she had to answer ‘What letter completes this sequence? SMHDWM.’
Looking at those letters, I have absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to be working out. Do any of you know?
Well, with just 30 second on the clock, Hillal provided her answer and managed to completely smash it.
Her answer was ‘Y’, and why was she correct? It’s because the sequence was in fact talking about the measurement in time.

SMHDWM and Y amounted to Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months and Years.
She couldn’t believe her luck, while viewers at home were sat looking round at each other as they wondered ‘what the f**k was that question’.
On social media, people immediately piped up about the insane question, while some got it instantly, with one saying: "You could give me 10 hours and I couldn’t answer that. Never mind 30 seconds."

Another commented: "I literally said Y because “Shake My Head Dya Know Whatta Mean Yeah?” and someone else wrote: "I didn’t even understand the question let alone get the answer."
"That’s so easy for the 1% question," said a user, while another penned: "This was the easiest 1% question I've ever seen, but they do say it's only easy if you know the answer."
This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time, that the show has divided fans.
During the Christmas special, host Lee Mack presented the contestants with two near identical images of an animated Christmas scene and asked to spot the difference between the two.

Well, it was an image of Santa, a reindeer and a snowman sitting down at a table together to eat turkey. However, Santa’s legs were gone in one of the images.
Seems, easy, right? Wrong. 28 people were eliminated as they couldn’t spot it.
