Viewers think Demi Moore was flirting with Colin Farrell with comment in bizarre Graham Norton show moment

The Graham Norton Show saw Demi Moore and Colin Farrell talk about his new show The Penguin

After watching the latest episode of the Graham Norton Show, viewers can’t stop talking about actress Demi Moore and her obvious ‘flirting’ with Colin Farrell on the red sofa.

The pair were part of the line-up for last night’s show (September 27), and were joined by Lady Gaga, Richard Ayoade as well as musicians Jack Savoretti and Miles Kane.

It was a fantastic list to make up for the show’s summer hiatus, which saw fans starved of funny celebrity interactions on the famous Brit show for weeks.

The star-studded sofa welcomed Moore for the first time, as she had never appeared on the show before, which is a bit of a shock to be fair as it seems as though every celebrity on Earth has made it to the set at one stage or another.

She was there to talk about her intense ‘body horror’ film called The Substance, which apparently saw ’30 gallons’ of blood being sprayed using a ‘fire hose’, according to the actress.

Farrell was perched right beside her to promote his new TV show The Penguin, which is a spin-off from the Batman world which dives into the criminal underbelly of Gotham.

Oddly enough, Lady Gaga was there to talk about playing Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux, which is also a Batman spinoff.

However, among all of the chatting going on from the stars, fans were convinced Moore was shooting her shot with the Oscar-nominated Irishman.

It was when he was describing the gruelling process of transforming his face and body to look like the supervillain, where he admitted his confusion over having to change his face when an alternative actor could have been used instead.

Moore said of Farrell's makeup on the show: “The whole world is incredible, what you went through be able to transform is incredible.”

Farrell replied: “I know people have said, why would they cast you and then bury you and not - why wouldn’t they get an actor, that you know - doing somebody out of a job.”

He was quickly cut off by Moore, who had her own theory as to why he was cast, as she said that she thought ‘maybe it was because they want to know that it’s somebody attractive under there?’

Ooh, she’s smooth.

People online can’t stop talking about the interaction on X, formerly Twitter.

One person wrote: “Demi Moore splooshing over Colin Farrell.”

Someone else said: “Demi Moore flirting with Colin Farrell on The Graham Norton Show.”

Another person bluntly stated: “Colin Farrell isn't smitten and flirting with Demi Moore at all.”

As soon as those words left her lips, there was a very obvious pause from Norton, the celebs and the audience before Farrell gave a coy smile and Moore burst out laughing.

Lady Gaga immediately placed her hand on Moore’s arm as everyone chuckled at her flattering comment as she said: “I mean, I’m just saying.”

In response to the comment, Farrell joked with her, asking: "What are you trying to say?"

Moore then tries to explain herself as Farrell begins to explain why he thinks he was cast in the TV show before throwing the actress a quick ‘thank you’ for her compliment on his looks.

Even though it was her first time on the show, she’s certainly made her mark.
