Emma Stone has had more iconic roles than you can shake a stick at over the years thanks to her incredible acting abilities, but sadly, there are a few gigs she didn't get while trying to forge out her career.
Obviously, she managed to pave a way for herself in Hollywood in the end anyway, however, the road to success wasn't exactly easy for the Spider-Man star.
But I'm sure those two Oscars sitting on her mantlepiece now more than make up for all the knock backs she received while auditioning for parts in her younger years.

As fans of the actress, 35, will already know, Stone dreamt of becoming a star on the big screen since she was just four years old and tried out for a number of TV shows as a child.
After failing to get her big break and dropping out of high school to concentrate on her career plans, she prepared a PowerPoint presentation for her parents titled 'Project Hollywood' to convince them to let her move to California.
Low and behold, it worked - and Stone moved into an apartment in Los Angeles with her mother at aged 16.

The Arizona-born actress said she auditioned for 'every single show on Disney Channel' and to 'play the daughter on every single sitcom' but ultimately 'ended up getting none'.
Stone isn't shy to admit that these rejections stung, but there is one TV gig that she missed out on which still pains to this day.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, the Superbad star opened up about the role which she didn't get that she was most 'devastated' about.

Stone told the comedian: "When I was auditioning in LA when I was...I think I was 15 at this time, I got a couple callbacks for Friday Night Lights for Coach Taylor’s daughter.
"I was totally devastated that it didn’t work out."
Instead, actress Aimee Teegarden ended up getting chosen to play Julie Taylor in the beloved US sports drama.
Stone said it 'would have been so crazy' if she did end up getting cast in Friday Night Lights as it would have meant she was working alongside her Kinds of Kindness co-star Jesse Plemons, who played Landry Clarke in the sitcom.

She continued: "But then we met 20 years later on this [Kinds of Kindness]. And, he’s going to be in the next movie, too - spoiler alert!"
I tell you what, the universe just has a way of forcing certain people together, doesn't it?
