First Dates fans have been cringing after a clip from the Channel 4 show has resurfaced and shown some prime difficult date content.
Part of the attraction of the show is seeing the moments when dates get really awkward and you know it's not going to work out, as it didn't between Lauren Simon and Chiles Cartwright.
Check it out:
The clip from the Channel 4 show has been swirling round social media once again as the date starts off with smiles and pleasantries for a bit before the conversation comes to a grinding halt after Chiles asked her what she did for a living.

"I think you know what I do," she said right before it became painfully apparent that the bloke hadn't a scooby-doo what her job was.
He told her he had absolutely no clue and said he was 'very intrigued' to find out, prompting Lauren to tell him she was a stripper.
She actually wasn't, but given that this was their first date and he clearly had no idea who she was it was up to Lauren to say who she actually was.

"I'm obviously not a stripper," she told her date, leading to him asking her how much she'd had to drink and saying it was 'clearly too many' when she told him she'd only had one drink.
So the date wasn't going all that well by this point.
As for the grand mystery of what Lauren did for a living, she then revealed the actual answer was 'work in television on The Real Housewives of Cheshire'.
She told Chiles that since the show was 'highly publicised in Manchester' where he lives she assumed he'd seen it.

In his defence, there's a hell of a lot of TV to get through and pretty much no way to watch it all so perhaps Chiles was just working his way round to it.
It might not surprise you that Chiles and Lauren didn't end up getting together based on their First Dates experience.
In fact both Chiles and Lauren had been on TV before, as he'd previously been a contestant on The Apprentice but didn't last long in the competition.

As is customary for the UK version of The Apprentice the boys lost the first task and karate black belt Chiles was up for the chop.
First Dates fans watching the clip of them together have said it was 'toe curling stuff' and someone even said they 'cringed my teeth out of my skull', so we hope they have a good dentist.
Many others said the moment she assumed he'd recognise her and didn't was 'embarrassing' while one person said that moment 'just gave me the ick', which these days is one of the most scathing things someone could say.
Others suggested that if she wanted to look for love on another show there was always Celebs Go Dating, while a few commenters said that Chiles came across as a nice bloke.
