If you're a major Friends fan, you might have noticed a serious plot hole in one of the storylines.
With many of us having watched every single episode of the sitcom around 2,000 times, once you spot it, you'll wonder how you never noticed before.

After all, Friends fans are pretty good at sniffing out plot holes.
For example, there's the bizarre crossover between Julia Roberts' cameo in the show and her Netflix movie, Leave the World Behind.
If you haven't heard, Roberts' character's daughter in the star-studded flick is pretty obsessed with Friends.
Even while the world is falling to pieces around them, she just can't get her mind off the fact she is unable to watch the finale of the iconic series because there is no internet connection.

But even though the kid is apparently Friends' number one fan, who has binge watched every other season, she doesn't seem to cotton onto the fact that her on-screen mother, Roberts, guest starred in it.
And there's a similar plot hole in another season of the show.
It's all to do with a storyline between Rachel and Season 6 boyfriend, Paul Stevens.

Rachel meets Paul (played by Bruce Willis) through Ross, who at the time is dating Paul's daughter, Elizabeth.
But one fan isn't impressed with Bruce's cameo, considering Chandler, Joey and Ross are major Die Hard fans.
As we know, Willis stars in the movie as the Christmas-saving hunk John McClane.
Would they not notice that Bruce Willis - aka their movie hero - was dating Rachel?

One wrote on Reddit: "In the show Friends. Chandler and Joey love the movie Die Hard, and then Rachel starts dating Bruce Willis and they say nothing."
Another added: "Chandler, Ross and Joey rent Die Hard and watch it together and then in a later series Rachel goes out with Bruce Willis? How are they not star struck when they meet him?"
A third wrote: "Isn't it ironic how Ross, Joey and Chandler loves Die Hard so much but then when Bruce Willis guested it was no big deal hahaha!"

While another person theorised: "Maybe in the universe of Friends Die Hard is different than in ours?
"A lot of things in there are either fake or slightly changed, but Die Hard was only mentioned, so it could be possible that either Bruce looked different there or the main character was played by someone else."
As some fans pointed out though, Willis was playing another character in Friends, so it kind of makes sense, but we do think fans have a point.
