Here is the surprising career the actor who plays baby Neil in Gavin & Stacey has had since appearing on our screens all those years ago.
Well folks it's finally here, Gavin & Stacey will grace our screens for one last time tonight with an epic 1 hour and 30 minutes blow out which sees the two families from Barry and Essex get together for another Christmas.
Check out the trailer here as you count down the finale hours until 9pm tonight:
The teaser promised to finally reveal what happened between Uncle Bryn (Rob Brydon) and Stacey's older brother Jason (Robert Wilfort) fateful fishing trip, while also keeping the resolution of Nessa's (Ruth Jones) surprise proposal to Smithy (James Corden) a secret - though the trailer does hint at a continuation of the lingering romantic tension between the pair.

However eagle-eyed fans will have certainly noticed a surprise inclusion in the trailer, and no, we're not talking about Nessa switching from smoking to vaping.
It's the appearance of Oscar Hartland, the actor who has played Nessa and Smithy's son Neil since the character's very first appearance.
He was last seen in the 2019 special, as Neil split his time between parents Nessa and Smithy.

Despite initial fan fears that Hartland's character would be axed from the finale, the teenager could be seen in set photos and makes an appearance in the trailer, while the finale's official synopsis reveals that Neil will soon be beginning an apprenticeship with his dad.
Considering that he's been acting since being an infant, you'd imagine that Hartland has decided to pursue other roles outside of the BBC comedy, however, that is not the case.
The teenager is actually a budding musician and was previously a member of grunge rock band Redwood City, which released two singles on Spotify.
"Music is my thing at the moment, I'm loving it," he told Wales Online back in 2022. "I want to do stuff like Guns n Roses, Queen, and the darkness. I also love DJing as well, I have some decks."

It's unclear if Hartland still makes music with the band, as his social media pages now focus on his own solo recordings.
The teenager regularly shares clips of his music via TikTok and has even gone viral on the app several times.
He also has two singles released on his personal Spotify account, titled 'Sunrise' and 'A Thousand Pictures', and auditioned for The Voice Kids back in 2023.

So could we not-so-baby Neil perform a musical number alongside his parents in tonight's finale? Guess we'll have to tune in to find out.
