The iconic lead actor of The Inbetweeners, Simon Bird, has answered the one question we all have had for the decade since we last saw the four lads together.
When are they coming back?
The four actors have hinted at various points at possible reunions, with Bird and Joe Thomas having previously reunited for Friday Night Dinner, as well as Thomas reuniting with James Buckley for White Gold.
The Inbetweeners aired in 2008 and was a near instant classic.

With stellar reviews characterised by an 8.4 on IMDb and 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, it was even more beloved by fans than critics.
This clamour for more after season one aired earned the show three seasons.
It wasn’t done there however, with two follow-up movies coming, one set in Malia on a lads holiday, and the second in Australia.
If you’re placing bets though, don’t put much money on there being a third movie or fourth season.

Bird, who played Will, spoke to MailOnline and said: “I’m afraid to be the one pouring cold water on this but it’s not happening.
“I can tell you emphatically that there are no prospects of a reunion.
“[The cast would] be happy to but it’s not up to us, it’s up to the writers, Iain [Morris] and Damon [Beesley, and I know they’re both very busy these days."

"It’s not more likely to happen now than it was ten years ago I’m afraid,” Bird added.
“I think it was a comedy that inhabited a certain time.
“So, no, there has been no discussion about a new show or film.”
Bird has previously shattered any hopes by pointing to the fact that they’re all too old to play teenagers nowadays, and that them coming back as their actual age would be ‘a bit more depressing for everyone’.

So bad news Inbetweeners fans, it doesn’t sound on the cards.
Despite this, there was actually a reunion in 2019, though it was a massive disappointment.
Fwends Reunited should’ve obviously been a terrible idea from the cringe name alone, but the Jimmy Carr-hosted special was a disaster.

Buckley, who played Jay, said it had dashed any hopes of his for having another reunion, and even apologised for it on Twitter.
He posted in 2019: “Feeling pretty hated right now. I’m sorry to anyone who feels let down with last night’s show.
“I’m especially upset as it really is the fans that made The Inbetweeners a success, it certainly wasn’t me.
“I might do an explanation video on my YouTube or might just leave it and move on #sorry.”
He would also later tell Heart Radio: “At the moment I wouldn't want to go anywhere near it. I'm not sure we would be able to do it good enough.
"It's difficult to come up with reasons why we shouldn't do anymore, we all love each other we all get on really well. It's the best job in the world. We get paid really well to do it.
“We've always gone 'let's just leave it'. A lot of people might have argued that we should have left it after the first film.
"I think especially after the reunion, me personally I don't want to ruin The Inbetweeners any more.”
