Jeremy Clarkson is set to make a return to what he does best with a brand-new car-themed episode of Clarkson’s Farm.
The popular docuseries first launched in 2021 and followed the former Top Gear host as he turned his hand to farming on the 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
The show, which wrapped up its fifth season earlier this year, has earned itself an army of fans who have enjoyed getting to see a different side to Clarkson.
However, in a new standalone episode of the show - titled Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special - fans will get to see him returning to his roots as he attempts to take on a world’s first by growing and building his very own car.

Yep, you did read that correctly.
Clarkson will be using produce grown on at Diddly Squat Farm to build a new car.

In a press release about the upcoming show, Amazon Prime explained: “Frustrated by modern motoring’s endless beeps, bongs and nanny-state technology, Jeremy has decided that if he wants a “new” car, he won’t buy one – he’ll build one.
“The base for his grand plan is the Jaguar F-Type V6S, a car he believes represents the sweet spot between analogue driving thrill and modern practicality.
“But this is no ordinary restoration job. Alongside his very own Diddly leather interior and wool carpets, Jeremy will attempt to grow a crop of flax fibre and turn it into a revolutionary flax-composite – a sustainable alternative to carbon fibre already catching the attention of major car marques.”
Helping him on his unusual quest is legendary car designer Ian Callum, the man behind plenty of iconic car designs including the original F-Type and the Aston Martin Vanquish.
Clarkson is hoping to create a homegrown motor that boasts ‘style, luxury and performance’ - and, to be honest, I just really can’t wait to see how he’s going to manage this.
Teasing the new upcoming show on his Instagram page, Clarkson referenced the new Jaguar Type 01 that was unveiled yesterday (7 October).
In a clip teasing the new show shared on Instagram, Clarkson said: “You wait years for a new Jaguar to come along and then two come along on the same day.
“We've heard a lot today from Jaguar about the car they’ve built and in a few moments you’re going to hear about one that I have grown on my farm. Stand by.”
The announcement of the new show comes just weeks after Clarkson let slip that he was already looking to what comes next after Clarkson's Farm ends, Variety reports.
Speaking at the Royal Television Society conference in London last month, he said: “We’re currently thinking about what do we do after Clarkson’s Farm, and it’s going to have to be something bigger to stand out, to protect us from this onslaught from underneath.
“It has to be unbelievably ambitious.”
Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson’s Farm Special is set to land next year and it’ll be a bumper year for fans of the show as the sixth season will also be released in 2027.
