A man who was slammed for the brutal prank he played on his wife at their wedding has made an admission about the 'harsh' joke.
The newest season of reality dating show Married at First Sight UK will be returning to our screens very soon, which means a whole bunch of singletons will be heading down the aisle to marry a complete stranger.
Ahead of the show's season premiere, E4 dropped a teaser video and it's received a lot of attention on social media.

Take a look at the clip below:
In the clip, dog walker Kristina, 30, and mechanic Kieran, 28, could be seen having their first introduction at the altar - and it didn't go down too well.
As Kristina made her way to the aisle with a voiceover of hers stating that she would not settle for any less than 'unconditional love', Kieran could be seen slipping a pair of false teeth into his mouth as he waited for the bride to make her entrance.

Kieran then raises his finger to his lips as a plea for the audience to keep quiet about the teeth, as one of his groomsmen shares his concerns about the prank, saying it could make him look 'a little immature'.
"This could really end up bad," Kieran himself admitted. "But I just want to know if this girl is funny."
Unsurprisingly, his new wife wasn't impressed by the prank and could not keep a straight face after seeing his teeth.

The clip has since gone viral online, with the majority of viewers left unimpressed by Kieran's antics at the altar.
"I’m all for wanting to know if someone 'matches your vibe' with jokes etc but not on your first ever meeting," one person replied to the clip, while a second added: "This just sums up how unserious this show is…"
"Dude looks like Cletus off The Simpsons," a third joked.
However it would appear that Kieran has quite a history with this particular set of false teeth, as he can be seen wearing them in a video shared to Instagram back in September 2023.
The clip, captioned 'This is why I’m single', is a skit which sees Kieran play two characters, with one wearing those infamous teeth.

"This is why you're still single," may have also been the words running through Kristina's mind at the altar as she appeared clearly unimpressed by his actions.
"These teeth. What the f**k?" was all Kristina was able to muster in-between bouts of horrified laughter.
Married At First Sight UK is expected to air on E4 this September.
