Myron Gaines has claimed he's got proof Louis Theroux 'deceived' viewers of his new Netflix documentary Inside the Manosphere, which Gaines and his now ex-girlfriend featured in.
Gaines was amongst the group of right-wing streamers who went viral earlier this year for playing Kanye West's song 'Heil Hitler' and posting videos of them singing along to it.
During his conversations with Theroux, Gaines spoke of a 'one-way monogamy' which would require a woman in his life to be loyal and committed to him while he'd be able to have multiple partners.
In one scene, Theroux ends up talking to his girlfriend Angie, quizzing her about if she's happy with Gaines' views on monogamy and his desire to have multiple wives.

Later in the documentary, it's implied Gaines was unhappy about this conversation. Angie doesn't appear in the documentary again, and it's revealed at the end that Angie and Gaines broke up after filming of Inside the Manosphere was completed.
Gaines has since accused Theroux of editing clips of their interactions to show him 'out of context'.
How Louis Theroux and Angie's interaction plays out in the documentary
In the doc, Theroux says to Angie: "[Gaines] expects to be in a relationship in which there's one-way monogramy as he calls it.
"He's allowed to basically pursue other relationships, but you're not."
Angie says: "The women that he sleeps with, he's just going to be with them for a night, but I don't think he sees them in that way. There is a reason that I've stayed so long with him."
Theroux presses: "We were talking about in the future that maybe there's a world that [Gaines has] more than one wife."
Gaines says: "She understands that."
Angie adds: "I don't know. He has said that in the past. I'll see when it happens. I don't know how that will work."
What Gaines says was cut out of Theroux's documentary

Gaines shared some footage of this conversation with Theroux which he recorded himself, showing that some of Angie's comments appeared to have ended up on the cutting room floor.
Angie said they'd had a 'weird relationship in the past where he was seeing other girls, kind of like taking seriously, kind of not'.
She added that if Gaines' desire for multiple wives 'ever comes to reality it will have to be some special girls that we have to be in some sort of connection'.
Gaines said his now ex-girlfriend 'would need to like the other girl' if they were going to bring another woman into the relationship, with Theroux chiming in to say he thought polygamy would be 'hard' regardless.
Angie said they'd have to see if it would happen in the future, adding 'I don't see it happening right now because he works too much, he barely has time for me'.
What actually happened in the future was Angie and Gaines splitting up, with the streamer saying the split happened because she wanted a family and he 'can't give that to her right now'.
Do people agree that Angie's comments were taken out of context?
While he's accusing Theroux of trying to 'spin' a narrative with Inside the Manosphere his argument isn't going down all that well with everyone.
Responding to him posting the clip some said the expanded conversation 'makes him look worse' as Angie seemed very cold on the idea of this 'one-way monogamy' arrangement, while others argued it shouldn't have been edited out.
One said Angie 'made an uncomfortable face when answering the question' about one-way monogamy, but another agreed with Gaines the segment has been 'edited to make [him] look bad'.

During a seven-hour stream, Gaines accused Netflix of being 'woke garbage' and claimed that once he was done 'no one' would take Theroux seriously again.
Elsewhere in the documentary, there was footage of Gaines speaking on his podcast Fresh and Fit where he said: “B***h, I’m the dictator. You are the subordinate.
“I dictate when I want to put d**k in you b***h and then you dictate when the sandwiches come by my dictation.
“Women love guys like this who tell them how it is. This isn’t open to interpretation or how you feel, or what you think. It doesn’t matter what you f**king think."
Speaking on LADbible’s Honesty Box Theroux said the documentary was the work he is proudest of.
