Sofia Vergara has revealed the one worry she had about shooting her first sex scene at the age of 50.
The Colombian actor is no stranger to being on screen, being best known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in long-running series Modern Family.
However it wasn't until very recently that she filmed her first intimate scene, despite having a career which spans over 20 years.

Vergara's first role which required her to film intimate scenes was the hit Netflix series Griselda, where she starred as the infamous drug-lord Griselda Blanco.
The role was one of Vergara's most challenging to date, with the actor going to extreme lengths in order to transform into the notorious Colombian drug dealer.
However, there was one thing that made the star more nervous than anything and that was stripping off to film the show's sex scenes.

Speaking about the show at a press conference for Netflix, the actor, 51, revealed the idea of her first sex scene had left her 'worried' about how her body would look on screen.
"I'm 50! I mean, when I was 30, I wouldn't have worried," she said.
"I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific. I was like, 'Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side?' Uh, I'm vain I guess."

Premiering on Netflix earlier this year, Griselda received rave reactions from fans as well as landing a respectable score of 87 percent on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
The series charted Blanco's rise through the ranks of the Miami underworld in a ruthless pursuit of money and power, earning herself the nickname the 'grandmother of cocaine' in the process.
The show ends with the eventual downfall and imprisonment of Blanco. She was later released from prison and returned to her hometown of Medellín, where she was later assassinated in 2012, aged 69.

It's a surprise that Vergara could recognise herself on screen at all, as the actor underwent quite the physical transformation in order to become Griselda.
During filming, the actress wore prosthetics on her face - including a fake nose, teeth and hairline.
"I was trying to change as much as I could without looking like I was in a Halloween costume," Vergara told reporters at a press conference for the series.
The look also went beyond prosthetics, with Vergara ending up suffering from a back injury due to holding her body in an unnatural posture while filming.

"I put myself in a body position for six months. The only time that I didn't go to work was because I'd gotten up in the morning and my back [hurt]," she added, revealing that she needed to attended 'physical therapy' for the damage to her spine.
